My experiences helps me to anticipate issues and either avoid or deal with most problems that arise in an efficient manner. I sell a mix of waterfront, country residential and multi-family properties. Though many things have changed in the twenty-eight years I have been selling real estate, the importance of personal, individual service never goes out of style. Only the way we accomplish this service has changed dramatically. Computers, email and smart phones have made staying in touch easier than ever. It is always permissible to call me on my cell, even in the evening and on weekends. I also get email on my Blackberry and will respond to inquiries promptly.

I am a member of the Western Maine Board of Realtors and serve on its board of directors. In 2009 I was honored by the Western Maine Board of Realtors as the Realtor of the Year.
Personal / Comments: I am a Maine native, growing up in the coastal village of Boothbay Harbor and moving to the Lakes Region in the late 1960's. At one time or another, I have lived on Sebago Lake, Brandy Pond and Long Lake. I currenty live with my husband and a very spoiled pug in Knights Hill, a waterfront community on Moose Pond in Bridgton where we spend much of our free time with our three grown kids and seven grandchildren. I enjoy all four seasons in this area - swimming and canoeing in the summer or just curling up with my knitting during the winter.
Service Areas and Specialties: The Sebago Lake Region, which covers a large area from Windham/Standish west to NH. This is a beautiful area of the foothills of the White Mts. dotted with over two dozen lakes and ponds. There is a variety of housing, including seasonal cottages, second and vacation homes, year-round waterfronts, and old New England farmhouses and Capes. I have successfully represented both Buyers and Sellers with their WATERFRONT sale or purchase. In addition my wife Deborah, also a broker, and I have rehabbed older homes and have made real estate investments. We are ready to offer advice based on our years of experience.

Professional Experience: 33 years in real estate, and Owner of Krainin Real Estate since 1976. My prior experience was Secretarial, Public Relations and Marketing.
Krainin Real Estate has grown from the one-person office I opened on Frye Island in 1976 to 8 sales agents, 10 rental staff, and 7 administrative staff in 2017! My husband, Lew, and I are licensed, of course, but we do not list or sell property. Our days are very full with administrative duties!
Krainin Real Estate's Sales and Rental departments work very well together, and complement each other, so we are able to more widely serve the needs of lake region property owners. If you are thinking of renting or selling your property, or even both at the same time, we encourage you to contact us for estimates of market value and an explanation of our widely-recognized Krainin Quality Service!
Professional Education and Designations:

Personal / Comments: I was born in London, England; Lew was born in New York City. We met in Mrs. Greene's 7th grade English class in Forest Hills, New York, and married in 1968. Our daughter, Sarah, was born in 1981. She is a stage set and props designer for experimental theatre groups, and currently attending grad school in Los Angeles.
Our family has lived in Naples for over 30 years; we have been active on the school board, planning board and appeals board. We have two offices, in Raymond and Naples. We also own a cottage on Brandy Pond, which we rent in the summertime, so we are very familiar with all the aspects of waterfront and residential ownership in the Lake Region!
We love this area and feel that we have contributed to the responsible, productive growth that has taken place over the last 30 years. We look forward to welcoming you to the Lake Region as a new home owner, and know you will love it as much as we do!
Service Areas and Specialties: The Sebago Lake Region of Maine has been my home for 35 years. It is a wonderful place to live, vacation and to retire. I specialize in understanding and respecting clients, educating them about the market and working hard to meet their needs.
Professional Experience: As a Krainin Realtor, my experience has been extensive. In the last 16 years, I have sold waterfront and residential building lots, commercial property, vacation and primary homes. The Lakes Region encompasses many towns, and even more lakes and ponds. There are definite advantages to buying, or selling with the help of an experienced local agent.
Professional Education and Designations: My current designation is Broker. My background is in teaching the sciences. Practical experience in local government and community service as well as science education background give me a unique set of skills in this profession, which demands a wide range of knowledge and expertise.
Personal / Comments: We chose to raise our family here in Maine, and enjoy the recreation and the wonderful small communities. One of the best aspects of this job is meeting new people, who love Maine as much as I do.

Professional Experience: It is too early to retire, I enjoy working with people so I became a licensed sales agent in Maine. I am a member of the Wester Maine Board of Realtors, Maine Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Personal / Comments: My wife and I moved to Maine in 1981; built a house for our family. Did a lot of the interior work ourselves. We chose Maine and Sebago Lake and declined opportunities to live elsewhere. Maine has been a wonderful place to live and play and to bring up our family.
I choose to work on my own, rather than with an assistant or team of other agents, although I do occasionally co-list with selected agents. I want to be involved in every aspect of your sale because the continuity of one person handling things leaves less chance for a detail to slip through the cracks. I take advantage of the clerical support and resources offered by a full service agancy to free up my time to take care of those important details.
Professional Experience: Krainin Real Estate can offer you 40 plus years of full service brokerage and a team of eight experienced agents to aide in getting your property sold. We have two offices in Raymond and Naples that are open seven days a week during the spring and summer months, closing on Sundays in the late fall thru winter. Even then, our brokers are available by phone to assist you or a potential buyer. We strive to have a real person answer the phone whenever we are open and there is a broker in the office to answer questions on our properties and handle inquiries on our properties.
My days began in the small town of Mexico, Maine. Located in the western mountains, Mexico is a paper mill town. After graduating from the first class of Mountain Valley High School, I began my electrical career, going through the IBEW apprenticeship in Portland Maine. Although I don’t practice the trade regularly, I proudly carry this license to this day. In 2006, I decided that I needed a change which brought me to the Real Estate industry. Maggie put her faith in me and I have risen to be one of the top producers in the Sebago Lake region in just a few short years.
As a child, my experience of the area was visiting the local campgrounds, which is where I fell in love with the town of Naples. Now a resident of Naples and the Lakes Region, I’ve been enjoying the Sebago Lakes region for nearly 45 years. The Lakes Region is one of Maine’s top vacation destinations and offers many very unique attractions. I have enjoyed many of the area campgrounds, 40+ miles of boating on Sebago Lake, Long Lake, and the serene trip through the Songo River between the two lakes. An avid snowmobiler and member for the Naples snowmobile club, we have an extensive trail system throughout the area, which will get you to many awe-inspiring locations that may otherwise go unseen. I would be happy to show you around this place that I call home.
