Due to the extension of safe distancing orders, our offices remain closed to the public through May 31.
However, we are still working from home to serve your real estate needs, and now planning to open both the Raymond and Naples offices to the public in a limited manner on June 1.
We continue to check our voicemail and email, and keep track of all messages. We are also picking up post office mail a couple of times a week: P O Box 464, South Casco ME 04077.
If you leave us a message, you will receive at least a fairly prompt acknowledgement of your question, if not an answer. We will answer all questions as soon as we are able. IMPORTANT: If you leave a voicemail message, please include the date and time of your call, and your email address, as our telephone access is limited.
As Essential Businesses, PROPERTY SALES and RESIDENTIAL RENTALS are still being addressed in the customary way, with the addition of Safe Distancing measures. Our agents will provide instructions when appointments are made.
With regard to SHORT TERM RENTALS, please note that no new vacation or other short-term rentals may be booked for arrival during the month of May, and for June we can book new reservations to Maine residents only. We are in process of contacting owners and renters of May bookings in order to cancel or reschedule them, and next we will have a ‘heads up’ for previously booked for June.
Unfortunately we still do not have answers regarding rentals that were already booked for July through September. We have the obligation to our owners and renters to move forward with the usual preparations as though they are going to happen, but in truth, nobody knows.
Many Maine businesses and organizations are pressing the Governor to relax the regulations, particularly with respect to the 14 day quarantine required for anyone coming into the state, and hopefully that will be clarified soon, though not likely to be completely lifted.
There is also no denying that many Maine residents are advocating for very strict isolation, and watching arriving renters carefully, to be sure they are following the quarantine rules. That is understandable, as there are still large hot spots to our south, and in the end we all need to be safe and keep our families and neighbors safe in responsibility for each other. If you do have a rental taking place, please be sure to respect and follow the quarantine regulations.

If you have a RENT PAYMENT OR OTHER DOCUMENT in hand, please put your name and property identifier on it, and deposit it in the outside slot of the secure mailbox in the bulkhead, about 20 feet to the right of the front door.
DELIVERIES should be left inside the bulkhead. WATER TEST KITS are inside the bulkhead; please use the sign-out sheet on the clipboard so we know who has taken one.
