Service Areas and Specialties: Working out of the Raymond office of Krainin Real Estate located on Route 302 in the heart of the Lakes Region, I service a wide area of residential, waterfront and vacation property from Windham to the Western Lakes and Mountains covering the many towns along the Route 302 corridor and beyond. I'd love to help you with the purchase or sale of your Lakes Region property, whether it be your very first home, your dream home, a cabin in the woods, a simple summer camp or a waterfront estate. Give me a call and we can talk about how to get started.
Professional Experience: I have been selling real estate in the Lakes Region since 1983 and with Krainin Real Estate since 1986. My experiences helps me to anticipate issues and either avoid or deal with most problems that arise in an efficient manner. I sell a mix of waterfront, country residential and multi-family properties. Though many things have changed in the twenty-eight years I have been selling real estate, the importance of personal, individual service never goes out of style. Only the way we accomplish this service has changed dramatically. Computers, email and smart phones have made staying in touch easier than ever. It is always permissible to call me on my cell, even in the evening and on weekends. I also get email on my Blackberry and will respond to inquiries promptly.
Professional Education and Designations: I hold a broker's license, having taken courses in real estate practice, appraisal & law at the University of Maine. I am a member of the Western Maine Board of Realtors and serve on its board of directors. I have met the requirements of the National Board of Realtors for the GRI designation, and regularly take courses to improve and update my knowledge of all aspects of the Real Estate business. In 2009 I was honored by the Western Maine Board of Realtors as the Realtor of the Year.
Personal / Comments: I am a Maine native, growing up in the coastal village of Boothbay Harbor and moving to the Lakes Region in the late 1960's. At one time or another, I have lived on Sebago Lake, Brandy Pond and Long Lake. I currenty live with my husband and a very spoiled pug in Knights Hill, a waterfront community on Moose Pond in Bridgton where we spend much of our free time with our three grown kids and seven grandchildren. I enjoy all four seasons in this area - swimming and canoeing in the summer or just curling up with my knitting during the winter.

Our family has lived in Naples for over 30 years; we have been active on the school board, planning board and appeals board. We have two offices, in Raymond and Naples. We also own a cottage on Brandy Pond, which we rent in the summertime, so we are very familiar with all the aspects of waterfront and residential ownership in the Lake Region!
We love this area and feel that we have contributed to the responsible, productive growth that has taken place over the last 30 years. We look forward to welcoming you to the Lake Region as a new home owner, and know you will love it as much as we do!

I choose to work on my own, rather than with an assistant or team of other agents, although I do occasionally co-list with selected agents. I want to be involved in every aspect of your sale because the continuity of one person handling things leaves less chance for a detail to slip through the cracks. I take advantage of the clerical support and resources offered by a full service agancy to free up my time to take care of those important details.
Professional Experience: Krainin Real Estate can offer you 40 plus years of full service brokerage and a team of eight experienced agents to aide in getting your property sold. We have two offices in Raymond and Naples that are open seven days a week during the spring and summer months, closing on Sundays in the late fall thru winter. Even then, our brokers are available by phone to assist you or a potential buyer. We strive to have a real person answer the phone whenever we are open and there is a broker in the office to answer questions on our properties and handle inquiries on our properties.

My days began in the small town of Mexico, Maine. Located in the western mountains, Mexico is a paper mill town. After graduating from the first class of Mountain Valley High School, I began my electrical career, going through the IBEW apprenticeship in Portland Maine. Although I don’t practice the trade regularly, I proudly carry this license to this day. In 2006, I decided that I needed a change which brought me to the Real Estate industry. Maggie put her faith in me and I have risen to be one of the top producers in the Sebago Lake region in just a few short years.
As a child, my experience of the area was visiting the local campgrounds, which is where I fell in love with the town of Naples. Now a resident of Naples and the Lakes Region, I’ve been enjoying the Sebago Lakes region for nearly 45 years. The Lakes Region is one of Maine’s top vacation destinations and offers many very unique attractions. I have enjoyed many of the area campgrounds, 40+ miles of boating on Sebago Lake, Long Lake, and the serene trip through the Songo River between the two lakes. An avid snowmobiler and member for the Naples snowmobile club, we have an extensive trail system throughout the area, which will get you to many awe-inspiring locations that may otherwise go unseen. I would be happy to show you around this place that I call home.
